Hi! My name is Demi. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have a Master Degree in Law. After I graduated from University, I travelled all over the world. That is when I first fell in love with Asia. When I eventually found my way home again, I joint the workforce. After a couple of years, I realized I needed a change and I got my TEFL certificate. I decided rather quickly that I wanted to teach in China. I have been in China for a little over a year now and I have loved learning about this country,exploring the food and meeting new people. Teaching at Angel has been an experience! I love the kids and they bring a smile to my face each and every day. Teaching is such a gratifying job. Kaitey. I was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri, USA. I have an adorable bustling and busy 2-year-old son along with a loving and supportive partner that made the journey with me here to China. I studied at the University of Florida where I obtained my BA Degree with a minor in Theatre. During my time at UF I was also able to intern at Walt Disney World for the entertainment sector. My family and I have been living and working in China as teachers for the past 2 years now and we love it here. I believe that the greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.” I also want my son to be able to be taught in the same way because as parents and teachers we’re here to help guide and nurture but our greatest gift that we can give to the children is to teach them valuable knowledge and skill sets that they can then do on their own because knowledge is power.

Hello, my name is Peter Nguyen. I m 30 years old, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. With my free time I like to play video games and eat until I can t no more. I like everything except vegetables…some vegetables, I m picky. If I was back home in the states, I really enjoy wake surfing and playing drums with free time as well. I came to China with my family, I have a beautiful partner in crime and a young 2 year old boy that also attends Angel Kindergarten. They really keep me on my feet at all times. I started off teaching in China and everything was going really good and I felt accomplished. Eventually, I figured that I bonded well with children because I m a child in an adult body. I teach kids English and I watch them grow, like a seed into a tree. We re giving these young children a whole new ability to carry on into their livelihood and this made teaching a fulfilling experience. Not only learning English but values, mannerism, creativity, expressionism, and much more. Their success is our greatest accomplishment and they ll shape our upcoming future.
